HunnaBee Wraps
Logo Design
"HunnaBee Wraps" is a small business founded by Hunter Wilson that specializes in creating beeswax wraps, designed for food storage. These wraps are a sustainable alternative to plastic wraps and are made using organic beeswax. With a commitment to eco-friendly practices, HunnaBee Wraps offers a wide range of hand-designed prints, allowing customers to personalize their food storage while reducing their environmental footprint. By combining the versatility of canvas and the natural properties of beeswax, Hunter Wilson's business provides a practical and stylish solution for those seeking a more sustainable approach to food preservation.
Research
Extensive research of beeswax wrap competitors, design styles, and deeper meaning was considered in the production of the final logo design.
I started my initial research taking notes on what made competitors successful and unique, and the niche HunnaBee would appeal to.
Logo
Concept
Drawing inspiration from the original logo, I worked on incorporating line work, symbolism, and versatility.
Honeycomb, wildflowers, chemical structures, and custom typography were themes I wanted to explore and expand upon the original brand.

Final Logo

The final logo combines the classic honeycomb motif and an embellished and refined version of the original logo. Hand-sketched to include traditional flowers found in Vermont, the bee is the cornerstone of HunnaBee Wraps.
The hexagon creates a container for the bee and a structure for the design. The font was chosen to extend the handmade feel to the brand.
Additional Branding
The secondary logo incorporates the silhouette of Camel's Hump (located in the Green Mountains of Vermont), and continued use of the primary logo font.
I also created social icons to extend the use of the brand image further.
