Hey June
Logo and Brand Identity Design
During my internship at Moderate Breeze Design Company of Burlington, Vermont, I worked alongside the very talented designer, Marin Horikawa. He entrusted me with several large projects including Hey June, a stationary store in Richmond, VT, looking for a new brand identity.
This project focuses on concept development from sketch to final design. Form, color, typography, and execution were considered for each deliverable.
Logo Development
Hey June was originally a letterpress printing company, so many of my early designs were based around that initial concept.
My Version 1 logo revolved around the idea of letterpress machines which required the letters to be put into the machine backwards.
Other design inspiration came from common stationary store items such as paperclips, pencils, and stamps.
